This league offers children of all abilities an opportunity to play basketball for your middle school. South Portland Parks and Recreation will be participating in this league in conjunction with the Portland Recreation school based teams. Teams are organized in late November. Games will begin in early December, 2021 and run until the end of January 2022.
The league focuses on the following goals:
• To continue teaching all participants the fundamentals of basketball.
• To provide a fun environment that will help children grow emotionally, socially, and physically.
• To provide a positive experience for all participants.

Program dates/times: Game Dates/Location: Weekdays at Rowe Elementary, King, Lyman Moore, and Lincoln Middle Schools – games will be scheduled closer to the season depending on the number of teams. They will be held between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm depending on gym availability. Dates and times for practices will be determined closer to the season start.
