A program run by the University of New England and Maine Access Immigrant Network to provide opportunities for students to learn about different health career opportunities. It is a four year program with six learning sessions per year. During the learning sessions, there will be presentations on different health career opportunities and information on how to pursue those careers. There will also be health science lessons during the program. The program will take place over Zoom during the fall and may be in person in the spring. This program is available to high school students in Portland who identify as, or have family who identify as, immigrants or refugees to the United States.
