Several of our partners provide scholarships and free or reduced-fee programs, include meals, provide transportation, and other ways to make it possible for every child to have opportunities to explore their interests, learn new skills, and have fun. Susie Konkel Pass

With the Susie Konkel Pass, everyone age 21 and under receives free, unlimited admission to the PMA, as well as opportunities to attend special events, select free screenings of PMA Films, updates about museum happenings, and more.

Teen Alpine Trek

Students will build a base camp in the white mountains and go on EPIC day adventures from base camp each day. This program is designed to give students exposure to the higher peaks and exceptional rock climbs of New England and skills to adventure further independently.

Teen Girls Sewing

Any level of experience! In this program you will learn the basics of how to use an electric machine. You will create and make your own designs and use different tools for sewing.

Teen Inclusive Summer Internship

Portland Public Library is seeking a young person from our community who is interested in exploring a career in libraries and public service through a connected learning project this summer. This paid internship opportunity is for one rising high school junior, senior, or college freshman.
