Several of our partners provide scholarships and free or reduced-fee programs, include meals, provide transportation, and other ways to make it possible for every child to have opportunities to explore their interests, learn new skills, and have fun. Classic Cow: Islanders
In this week-long overnight program, Islanders will sea kayak, explore the Cow Island challenge course, play intensely fun games, and learn wilderness camping and cooking skills. Students will put their new outdoor living skills to practice on a one-night paddle to a neighboring Casco Bay island.

Cow Journeys combines the magic of the Cow Island experience with the excitement of exploring nearby islands on a two-night paddling trip. Ride our zip line, build a raft, get creative with an environmental art project, and set up your own camp on a remote island all in the same week!
Extended Learning Opportunities at Portland High School
Extended Learning Opportunities at Portland High School connects students with internships, job shadows, and out of school learning activities. If your student has something in particular they are interested in or want to explore opportunities, having them see Ms. Levinsky whose office is in guidance or email at levina@portlandschools.org.
Family Squash Membership
Join Portland Community Squash to use the squash courts and the gym during COVID-19. Members can play alone or in small pods. Junior, Young Adult, Individual, and Family Memberships available.
